living in a downtown world

Y'all my week has been nutty in the best possible way!
First on Monday.
As I figured I got a message from the first date fail the previous day.

Which is just weird.  I mean first you say you aren't that into me.
Then he basically questions/makes an accusatory statement about it.
I'm always perfectly nice and polite.
And I just re-iterated what our conversation was on Sunday.
I don't just go on first date sparks...it sometimes takes me a bit.
Anywho so at least that's done.

Monday night was the start of our winter book club with the girls.
We did this last year and had a great time.
This month's book selection, The Mountains Echoed by
Pic from here
A lovely night of chicken curry and bubbly champagne.
These girls are awesome and it is fun to get together and discuss things other than just gossip lol.

Tuesday night I headed to the movies with Kai.
So awesome that there is a theatre less than a block from where we now live.
And it's great to have Kai living in the same building.
We of course went to go see my guilty pleasure of Catching Fire.
Pic from here
Loved it and a definite improvement over the first movie.
It more closely followed the book and the recast the cat.  I'm someone who is detail oriented and insanely bothered by the black and white cat in the first movie when the book clearly describes the cat as a ginger one!

Wednesday night was date number two with someone (read here if you missed it).
I'm a little hesitant because it has been two and a half weeks since our first date.
I was wondering if he actually was interested but on the actual date I find myself pleasantly surprised.
Time seems to fly by and I find myself really simply just enjoying myself.
He picked a fabulous place one of my new favs in the city Patria.
Pic from here
It is a Spanish Tapas styled restaurant and my favourite way to eat.
I love trying little bits of everything.
Not to mention here I was on a date with a smart and handsome man.

He always dresses really well which I find super attractive.
Wednesday night he was wearing a blue and white checked button up shirt with a navy blue cardigan with light blue pipping also buttoned up.
Such great style.
After our date he offered to drive me home (now that I'm a public transit taking kind of girl).
As he drove me up I only made things slightly awkward with the hug and no kiss yet.
We do have date three on the agenda for Sunday so fingers crossed.

Thursday night Val and I headed out for our traditional birthday dinner.
We picked The Grove which was also amazing!
I'm seriously having great luck with restaurants lately.
Pic from blogto
We opted to each do the five course tasting menu but actually split it so we ended up with a ten course tasting menu.  So we tried everything except two items on the menu.
And it was delicious!
Definitely on my list of new favs.
Pic from here
Finally Friday was upon us and it was our second annual American Thanksgiving potluck at Laurel and her husband's place.
And we ate and laughed and gave thanks and just spent time together.
And it was the perfect end to a busy and fun week.
Pic from here
It is kind of funny us all living in a big city but still pulling together to celebrate.
Some of us are from here, some of us are from other cities in Toronto and some are from across the world.
Such a great group of friends I've made here.
I'm absolutely loving living downtown.

Blast from the not so recent past...

So yesterday was my birthday.
And it was good.
Usually I struggle and freak out and have just the most difficult time on my birthday.
Not the whole age thing but usually bad staff happens on or around my birthday (hence the Birthday Curse).

It's no secret that I've been trying (unsuccessfully) to stop thinking about MrAttorney.
Well I hadn't heard from him since this last message.
But I have been thinking if he only reaches out one more time then I will respond.

So yesterday it came as a "Hey happy birthday.  Hope all is well with you."
To which I replied "Thanks.  How are things with you?"
And then he called but I was busy getting Sushi with Kai for my birthday dinner.
Kai is one of the Canada crew who now just so happens to live on the 19th floor (I live on the 20th of the new downtown place).

So I go this text "Things are pretty good.  Just tried calling you.  Doing anything fun for your birthday?"
And I panicked about how to respond or what to do.
So I waited until today.

And with a few casual text messages exchanged it happened...
He asked "Would you be interested in grabbing a coffee or bite?"
And in my hesitation he wrote again "Crickets crickets...haha".

So I have lunch plans tomorrow with him.
And I'm kind of flipping out about it.
Holy moly what did I get myself into.
I'm probably making a big deal about nothing.
Maybe he just wants to catch up.
Maybe.

I find myself wondering...what will it be like.
Will we slip back into the banter we had before?
Will it be awkward?
Will he have changed his mind?
Will he have missed me?
Will things be the exact same?
Will he now want to move forward in some way?
Or is he just curious how things have been for me?
Like he said before he "cares about me".
I'm nervous and hopeful...

Pump the brakes

I had a crazy weekend.
Coming off my first week back to work after vacation is always busy in itself.
Friday night I finally got to unpack and do laundry.

Saturday I woke up early and spent the day in meetings.
It's for this side project I haven't mentioned but it certainly is causing me a lot of stress.
From there I had to rush home and change into my Halloween costume.

This year I was the Silk Spectre II.
aka a costume only true nerds like myself would know.
Downside...no one knew what I was.
Upside...no one else was dressed like it.
Pic from here
I ended up taking a cab to MrTrader's house afterward.
Where we drunkingly joked around and had a fun night.
Only...here's a quirk I haven't dealt with as of yet...someone who showers ummm every time RIGHT after...is that weird?
Should I take it to mean he thinks that's dirty or I'm dirty or something?  All I know is that I should have been gutsy and self-confident and jumped right on in there with him but I don't.
Instead I lay there and over think things.

Anywho I also of course make things always terribly awkward because lets face it I'm terribly awkward.
I think I made a comment about how I think he is way more "experienced" than I am.
I cringe everytime I think of Sunday morning.
Purely based on my behaviour.

While things likely won't work out (let's be real when do they?) I find myself kind of hoping that at least I get another chance to redeem myself.  I mean more in the personality sense.
I think I came across really insecure and not myself Sunday morning.
I heard from him via one text yesterday and nothing today.

So of course in my mind I think he's totally lost interest.
And then I go back and forth on if I should call him or text him....and then I talk myself out of doing that.  Ugh!
I'm probably overthinking it...that or my instinct is bang on.

Either way I think I need to pump the brakes a little bit.
Just for myself...given the absolute madness of these last two to three weeks.
I need to slow things down.
Which is much harder when you're already feel like you're flying down a hill.

Next Time

goldin_kiss
Pic from here
So on Tuesday I was all set to hang out for date four with MrTrader.
I was little a little worried given the previous date (read here if you missed it).
He suggested I come over and we just order in.
So I headed on over to his place (after getting his address from him because my memory was certainly a little hazy.

He is definitely very handsome.
And he had a bottle of red wine decanted when I arrived (LOVED that).
So we sort of giggled and catched up on our respective trips (mine Dallas, him Nantucket).

And he likes to tease me a little.
He said I barely ate and maybe we should just order in a personal size pizza....those who know me well know I can eat like a horse...unless I'm nervous...which I always am on initial dates lol.
So I told him that (look at me being all open and honest).

So we watched the hockey game on TV and chatted and drank red wine and ordered a pizza.
He made me make the selection.
So I ordered the Americana ...to which he teased me even more for because he likes to say I'm American.

After I was a little fidgety and nervous.
He pulled me onto his lap as he kissed me.
At some point I pulled away and called him a bad influence.
He thought if I was going to call him a bad influence he may as well be one.
And that is how one thing lead to another...

After we lay in bed sipping on glasses of wine.
I almost spit my wine all over his sheets when he asked me if the last serious relationship I was in was when I was married.  I definitely did NOT remember telling him that the last time.
And when I thought about it...it's been 3 years.
I can't believe I told him that.
We talk about many different things and I'm starting to really crush on him.

He invited me to stay over but I declined.
After all it was a school night.
Plus I didn't have a toothbrush or anything with me.
He said next time I should bring things and stay over.
Those may just have been my favourite two words he said that night...next time...

a second date fail and a second date pass

Pic from here
This seemed to be the weekend of second dates.
Well two of them at least lol.
So Saturday night I met up with the guy from this first date.

I met him downtown and we headed out for dinner and a movie.
There were again the same awkward stops in conversation.
I found myself searching for topics to chat about.
And he kept leaning to the side (there was a TV behind me that happened to have a hockey game on)...which I found extremely rude.
Heck if he wanted to watch the game he could have suggested wings and drinks and I would have happily watched the game.

And then the bill came and he asked if I wanted to split it.
And I did (though I didn't want to because the restaurant was his pick and he invited me).
It just was weird and I found myself in a little bit of a panic at the end of the date.
Like hoping he wouldn't kiss me or suggest to get together again.
I think I was sufficiently awkward and standing away that he only asked to get together again.
I let him know that I didn't think we were a match romantically.

I met up with Kai at her place after (soon to also be my apartment building too!)
And we both hoped for a better second date the next morning.
So this morning I the guy from this first date for brunch at The Rebel House.
Pic from here
He was on time this time lol.
And with him there is more just "click".
I found myself giggling and really enjoying myself.
Our brunch lasted three hours that seemed to fly by.

And we made plans for Friday night for a third date.
My last night in Toronto before I head to Dallas!
We walked a little down the road before we said goodbye with a quick kiss.
And it was good and totally made up for the not so good second date the night before.

getting back out there

flirty-first-date-2
Pic from here
So last night I had a first date.
And boy was I nervous.
I went shopping with K before hand.
I had to pick up some goodies for my little nugget I'm visiting in Dallas in just over two weeks!

I started getting really really quite.
K could sense my nervousness and totally tried to pump me up.
I headed over to Joey's to meet him for a drink.

He was 20 minutes late!
I almost went into panic mode like oh my goodness I'm about to be stood up!
But he arrived.
Tall, dark and handsome.

I was just a nervous chatterbug.
The wine was good and before I knew it two hours flew by.
It was good.
And most importantly it made me feel better.
Especially since he made mention that he was surprised I was on a dating website because "you don't seem shy and I'm sure you get set up frequently".
I just giggled.

At the end we walked out together.
Myself to the subway stop (I've started taking TTC (Toronto's public transit) downtown when I work downtown).
He mentioned for the second time that he had fun and we should do it again soon.
I agreed but we didn't make actual plans.
He hugged me and I kissed him on the cheek but was so nervous I'm not sure if I turned away from him kissing me.
Ack!

But all in all last night was just what I needed.
Starting to get my groove back just a little I think!

the fifth

so MrAttorney was between firms for about a week
so he spent it in Miami where his younger brother lives.
Now we just started hanging out so I didn't expect to hear from him much

To my surprise he did message me on a few occasions and even took up my suggestion to go see the parking garage at 1111 Lincoln Road which I'm currently obsessed with
Parking garage by day...
Pic from here
Cool venue space by night...
Pic from here
I must see this the next time I'm in Miami!
So after my sorority meeting downtown this past Monday night he asked for me to stop by
because he had a gift for me

He brought me back macarons from Miami.
Which I thought was so sweet and kind.
After all anyone who knows me at all know my obsession with these perfect little desserts
Pic from here
I was impressed that he would cart these delicate little desserts back just for me.
I'll keep you posted on how things go
I have to admit I don't want to jinx it
because we all know it only takes 17 dates before things tend to crumble apart
guess I'll just have to enjoy the next possible 12

third date

So does a third date warrant a Mr title?
Anywho so on Sunday I had a meeting with a potential business partner.
And after I was downtown so I called him.
He suggested we grab a late brunch at a super cute place called School in the Liberty Village area of Toronto.
Pic from here
So we parked at his place and headed over.
And I can just yap away.
He makes me laugh, he's intelligent and he's handsome (though not exactly my type...you know me I usually love the big huge guys lol...maybe this is the type of change I need.).
After we decided to walk down Queen Street West area of Toronto.
Pic from here
Stopping at Nadege for my fav macarons.

Pic from here
He agreed they were amazing!
So after walking around he suggested that he come up to my place (because I live way far out of the city).
I was a little nervous because I'm not sure how I feel about having people in my place.

So he came over and we had chinese food and martinis (I know kind of a weird combination).
Since he just finished up a job and is switching firms he had the week off.
So he ended up sleeping over.
Only I cooled things off before they went too far.

And it was nice.
Especially waking up to him and his rumpled hair.
And I find myself trying not to get too excited because let's me real...three dates in means nothing.
Heck the furthest things have gone since Spencer is 17 dates.
So I feel myself trying to hold back a bit.

Drag Queens, Ships and Burritos

So last Saturday it was E's birthday (from the Canada Crew).
I mentioned before that S and E live on a ship.
So that's where we started the celebration.

Before heading off to El Convento Rico.
A packed bar.
Known for it's drag queens.
And we danced and laughed our night away.
Pic from here
At the very end my date from the night before showed up.
And I was stunned that he would come all the way across town.
To a drag queen bar just to have a drink.

After we headed to Burrito Boyz for late night Burritos.
And it was nice even if the burritos kind of suck compared to Dallas.

Pic from here
I ended up spending the night on the ship which was super fun.
My blurry iPhone shot from the ship when I headed in that night.

And it was a fun Saturday night.
Which I desperately needed.

wasted

So I still haven't written about Boston.
Maybe its because I'm still seething over it.
More about that later.

Upon my return to work Monday I was a little exhausted and a lot cranky.

I rushed from work to a dental cleaning and finding out I have ledges that require some filling
(bad news yuck!)
Then I rushed to return the rental car.
And having to take a cab all the way across town was a depressing prospect.
Especially because I couldn't find a soul to pick me up.
So it added to the lonely feeling I've certainly been having lately.

So I get to the total sketchy car rental place.
Where my $145 rental becomes a $1143.95 car rental.
Yes you read that right.
I was devastated.
This kills my fun money (aka Dallas trip money).

I bawled my eyes out in the car rental place.
Such scam artists...now I'm just in the pissed off phase.
And I was upset about quite a few things.
I didn't know what to do just that everything seems to be going wrong.
In relaying that to a girl friend from my sorority alumnae group she insisted on me meeting her to watch the game.
(The game obviously being Michigan vs Louisville).
And well we all know how that went down.

Almost as smoothly as the two bottle of red wine.
I seemed to be channeling all my anger and frustration into gulping wine down much to quickly and just like that I was wasted.
So wasted that I ended up making really dumb decisions.
I slept exactly one hour Monday night.
And made a total idiot of myself.

Can't remember the last time I drank until the point of vomiting.
But oh I certainly did.
Totally humiliated.
Even if I do have a date for Friday night now.
Here's hoping I can redeem the first impression I must have given.
Because I cringe with embarrassment over the Monday night fiasco.

Mr.Tenderfoot

Y'all I don't even know where to begin with the craziness that is my dating life when it is fresh new line up.
But I'll try.
Two weekends ago I was at my brother's house for his birthday party.

I met my cousin Bella before hand.
She came with her boyfriend and his friend.
She hopped in my car and gave me the low down on his friend.

He had been dating his girlfriend for 4.5 years and they broke up 2.5 weeks ago.
She apparently freaked because he bought a house and that was much too serious for the girlfriend.
SO in order to cheer him up Bella brought him along.
And she had invited two of her sort of crazy and wild girlfriends from work.
They were there to flirt with him and cheer him up.

As we awaited these cheer up girls to arrive.
I ended up chatting casually with him.
He had been having a really rough two and a half weeks.
And then he tried to open a bottle of wine and as much as he tried he couldn't do it.
And then I did it...easily (I tried to make him feel better telling him he loosened it...he didn't buy it).

Then he tried to open a beer and promptly sheared off the top part getting glass in it.
Seriously...buddy was having an off night.
And really I didn't think too much about him.
Turns out we went to the same high school...only we missed each other because he is 6 years younger than me.

As the night progressed I think those other girls were a little too aggressive for him.
So then we all headed out to a bar in my hometown much to my dismay (seeing as I was in a cotton dress, tights, flats and a cardigan...not exactly bar attire).
We all were out and the funny thing is was in the first 10 minutes I kept getting approached.
Everyone found it quite amusing.

And then like always Bella and her boyfriend got in a screaming match.

Which lead to us suggesting we just leave.
So we headed back to Bella and her boyfriends house.
Where they continued to fight and we finally decided that Bella and I would stay there and the boys would stay at her boyfriend's friends house.

The next day we decided to have a lazy day of watching movies and eating wings.
Bella and her boyfriend were still trading jabs with each other.
So me and the Bella's boyfriends friend (okay I think I just need to come up with something to keep it simple how about Mr.Tenderfoot (hey he is SIX years younger than I am...clearly I have an issue with it) would just exchange looks.

So at the end of the night I was heading back to my parents place.
Bella's boyfriend was complaining about being tired so I offered to drive Mr.Tenderfoot home.
He invited me in for a drink and to show me his new place.
It was adorable because clearly he was super excited about it.

And then he jokingly said at the end of the night "I make a really good breakfast" (which is the bad pickup line we had all talked about earlier in the night...remember when this Mr tried to use it on me???)
Anywho I laughed and said I better go.
A quick hug later I headed home.
Not thinking too much about it.
I mean he was super handsome and fun BUT he's SUPER young and he lives in the city I basically can't stand.

When I got home he texted me...telling me Bella never told him before that she had a gorgeous cousin and that he didn't say that before because he had a really hard time reading me.
He wanted to let me know that he thought I was a really down to earth girl and he was happy we met.
We chatted a bit back and forth the next day...when he invited me to go to a concert with him the following Friday.  It seemed like a fun thing so I agreed.
Because seriously he is TWENTY-FIVE and I at least deserve to have a little fun if not get my groove back just a little...

Say Something?

I wanted to write things in chronological order...
but there is something to be said of just getting something off your chest (hello why I blog).
So here it the jumbled up feelings I've been feeling and what went down this weekend...

Sidenote:
PS I feel guilty
because I value my friendships
and am so so darn appreciative of my girl friends
so the order of posting
is definitely not to be misconstrued of order of importance
...so here we go...

Friday night after dinner Will and I headed out for a drink.
It's the little things that stick in my head about our conversations.
The way we can just talk and laugh.
He makes me feel comfortable.
Maybe its the years of sitting beside each other in class.
Pic from here.
I got worried though.
The painful way he told me he might get back together with his ex.
The one that treated him so terribly.
The one that broke up with him and a few weeks later told him she didn't regret it one bit.
Will's mother cried on Saturday at the tailgate telling another girl (Will's best friend's wife) about how poorly Will's ex treated him.

Laughing in the bar as he admired the bar sluts.
Us running into a girl he had made out with before she got fat. (his words).
Yet another girl of the list of many he has fooled around with.
Can't really blame him...he's an attractive guy.

Will explained to me how sad he was when the break up happened earlier this year (end of spring beginning of summer).
And how he basically listened to music to try and get through it (like I do).
I'll never forget the way that Will looked at me while he was driving when he told me he liked this song he wanted to play me.  Taylor Swift's we are never ever getting back together.

How I took a picture of it and him flipping me off but then we listed to it...twice.
I snapped a picture for evidence!

The ache I felt in my chest that he might he get back together with her.
And telling him "I will back you up 100% whatever your decision" because I'm worried his family and friends will freak and I want him to have someone to talk to.

Me, clumsily explaining to him that I can identify (ummm hello Jacob!...and Will knows all of this).
I said something along the lines of "you know all you can hope for is someone to like you for you light and also your dark...I think for me that's what I hope for...someone who like the obvious things that everyone likes about me but someone who finds my faults okay too...someone that thinks I'm basically a beautiful mess"...

Then he tried to convince me that his situation is much different than Jacob and mine's.
Which stung a little...granted there is truth...they've been broken up 2-3 months not four years.
I then made a stupid joke that lay flat in the air
"if people dated based on compatibility than you and I would be having the "isn't it weird that we were never both single at the same time until now" conversation".

Will's is an attractive guy but I brushed off as not my type for these last years.
When we got to his place we settled into his L shaped couch watching The League.
Our heads side by side but with our feet pointing away from one another.
There was quite a few times Friday I thought...wow he is really attractive (a brand new revelation on my part).  But I pushed it from my mind.

Then Saturday happened.
His best friend's wife asked if anything had ever happened between us two.
I told her no...but then blushed.
She caught it.

His best friend and his wife inviting us to head there instead of Will's place.
I think they saw some of the chemistry that seemed to be happening. (Of course maybe that was all in my head).  I think they wanted to give us the option of hanging out not in the living next to his parents.
I also could be way misinterpreting everything.
(L-r) GINNIFER GOODWIN as Rachel and COLIN EGGLESFIELD as Dex in Alcon Entertainment's romantic come...
Pic from here.
Getting home to his place and trying to be quiet.
Yet also deciding that it was a great idea to keep drinking.
As we changed into our pajamas (him in his underwear as per usual, and me in my shorts/tank non sexy combo) I totally spilled a drink down my tanktop (classy).

The drinking haze does get a little cloudy at this point...
This time though we were sitting rather close.
Then his arm was around me.
Then we were lying down.
Then his hand was rubbing my arm.
And he said "you know there was always something there between us"...
And we kissed.
And kissed.
And kissed.
And oh my goodness he is an AMAZING kisser.

Then I made thing awkward as I usually do.
Making a stupid very non sexy comment about how it had been awhile since I had been with someone (even though it really hadn't...I was actually trying to say it had been awhile since I had been with someone I really cared about...but drunkenly it didn't come out right).
He mumbled something about not having any...you know.
I think I said something along the lines of you're killing me!

Then I said something along the lines of...yea probably a good idea because I'm a girl and doing that kind of stuff makes me sort of attached.
I think at this point he likely realized doing just a whole just friends with benefits thing was unlikely.
So I made a complete fool of myself.
And probably made him feel very uncomfortable

Another way I made a fool of myself.
I'm pretty sure at some point I stopped us making out to put on cuter panties.
Because clearly the cotton boy cut weren't as nice as the lacey thong I had in my suitcase.
And clearly telling him that much.
Seriously. Drunk.

So we fell asleep me against him curled into his side.
At some point around 7ish I remember hearing one of his parents stir.
He made the excuse "ughh I'm hot and sweaty" and hoped back into our usual L shaped sleeping position.

Waking up super hung over with his parents up and at 'em.
Like I will say in my weekend recap post we had breakfast with the parents.
Then his mom, me and him went to look at a new mattress for him.
(L-r) GINNIFER GOODWIN as Rachel and COLIN EGGLESFIELD as Dex in Alcon Entertainment's romantic come...
Pic from here.
Later we chilled at his house watching more episodes of The League as I tried not to vomit.
He got me pretzels and water.
And we avoided any type of conversation alluding to a few hours before.

And I got ready to meet my newest friend in Ann Arbor.
He helped me pack up my car.
Gave me a big hug and talked about rounding up everyone for a trip to Toronto.

And I thought to myself I have to say something...so I said "um so like are we good?"
He said "yea...as long as you don't make it awkward".
I awkwardly said..."k" (not meaning ok at ALL).
He half yelled and teased "STOP making it awkward...you're making it AWKWARD".
I laughed (and felt silly at the same time).
He told me to message him when I got in.

Then I proceeded to day dream the whole long drive home.
As I came to the sinking realization...I think I like him.
And...I don't think he likes me beyond friendship one bit.
Crap.

This is our message back and forth.
Totally platonic.
He was clearly passed out by the time I messaged him so he responded in the morning and well...I feel silly.

What floors me is that it was so unexpected.
Everything about this weekend surprised me.
Probably the most surprising thing.
I think I like LIKE Will.

This kind of things has never ever ever happened with us.
We've always been buddies...best friends....we've never crossed that line.
I'm embarrased because I'm pretty sure I made it as awkward as possible.

So I guess that means I better get busy dating other people and moving on.
After all it's better than having to SAY SOMETHING

Say something...listening to this while I write
Is it weird that there are MULTIPLE say something songs...guess I'm not the first to experience this.

From Pop-ey and upbeat

To the simply cool/sexy

To the simple groove...

Deedeedeedeedadada (aka Saturday Night)

So Saturday I woke up leisurely.
Had a quick gym run.
And started to get ready.
Look at us...all dolled up!

I love doing that...putting music on and getting ready for a fun night out with the girls.
We hopped on the subway and then the streetcar to head to another of the CanadaCrew's condos right downtown.
She had this amazing spread all ready.

The birthday girl!

And us girls had drinks and snacks and got excited for a fun night out.
At around 10 we headed to Pravda.

Pic from here.

It's a Russian Vodka Bar.
It had really cool decor.
And we were all in a really great mood ready for a night of dancing and fun.

Here's what it looking like more with people in it!
PIc from here.

Had a great time.
Lots of laughs, lots of dancing, lots of chatting up boys.
B was there too.
It's not a complete night out without a foggy/blurry bar shot with some of the girls!

It was super fun dancing around, and flirting and just generally practicing catching someones eye.
I'm actually pretty bad at the whole approach thing.
One of the girls from the CanadaCrew actually got annoyed when this guy and I kept making googly eyes at one another and just waved him over.

I though great here comes this guy in a bar which will just lead to awkward conversation.
Only it wasn't awkward at all.
We had a lot in common (and not just because we were there celebrating birthdays with a group of friends) and I had so much fun chatting with him.
At the end of the night we exchanged numbers...and there may have been a few text messages exchanged today :)
After all I am "playing the field".

After it got late I headed home with Laurel and her fiance to crash on the couch.
Didn't sleep that great because they only have a small air conditioning unit in their room.
So I was very warm.
Woke up Sunday morning to head home because I had two dates lined up.
More about that later.

It was a GREAT Saturday night that seemed to really fly by.
And it was lovely to hang out with the CanadaCrew too.
Slowly but surely I'm making a life and more friends for myself in Toronto.
It's getting better.
And that's all I can hope for!
